Her skills lie in story concept, production, budgeting, communications, and digital content design. She is an alumna of Oxford University, where she read Classics and Philosophy, and recently completed a course in the creative application of design thinking at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). A Londoner by birth, Jane currently makes the most of her adoptive city of Sheffield

Hailing from Poland originally, Lucas has been living in the UK for almost 30 years. He has directed numerous films around the world, from Lebanon and China to the Arctic Circle. These include Ketermaya, which won best documentary film awards at international festivals in Italy, USA and Greece.
He holds a Masters, with Distinction, in Fil
Hailing from Poland originally, Lucas has been living in the UK for almost 30 years. He has directed numerous films around the world, from Lebanon and China to the Arctic Circle. These include Ketermaya, which won best documentary film awards at international festivals in Italy, USA and Greece.
He holds a Masters, with Distinction, in Film-Making from Sheffield Hallam University, where he lectures in Film and TV. Lucas is passionate about raising awareness for human stories concerning justice: including refugee rights, disability rights and other minority rights. Lucas sits as a panellist at various events and contributes as the jury at the International Children’s Rights Film Festival

Despite being a film producer and a writer Edessa also works as security/risk expert, medic and a humanitarian psychologist.
She is dedicated to ensuring the safety of humanitarian actors in complex, risk-sensitive environments, with solid know-how and experience in security advising, accompaniment, and training.
She spent 9 years in Iraq
Despite being a film producer and a writer Edessa also works as security/risk expert, medic and a humanitarian psychologist.
She is dedicated to ensuring the safety of humanitarian actors in complex, risk-sensitive environments, with solid know-how and experience in security advising, accompaniment, and training.
She spent 9 years in Iraq and Syria where she trained over 4,000 NGO personnel, 2 years in Nepal (over 1,000 humanitarians trained). She is certified in Crisis and Hostage Negotiation. She is also certified as Frontline Medic with practice in Iraq, Northeast Syria, and Ukraine.
As a humanitarian psychologist she is supporting the mental health of aid workers.
Edessa is a Founder of Strategic Edge International, a security-focused social enterprise, and Amalna Foundation, an NGO delivering protection programs for war-affected populations.
